YouTube isn’t enough. Crusaders need a Substack.

For years, YouTube has been home base. It’s where I built the Crusaders community from zero to millions of you watching, learning, and winning together. I’ve poured everything into those videos.

But I’ve been thinking about Substack for a long time, and I need to tell you exactly why I decided to launch this newsletter.

The algorithm has spoken

Over on X (Twitter), Elon Musk’s Head of Product Nikita Bier was waging a silent war against Crypto Twitter (“CT”) for years. A few weeks ago, CT finally exposed the truth.

X and Grok algorithm changes crushed the reach of legitimate crypto influencers like me overnight. Earlier this year, they obliterated CT engagement for a few days before undoing it and dusting the incident under the rug. Creators watched their impressions fall off a cliff while bots were rewarded, and then Bier backpedaled.

Bier responded by gaslighting members of CT that they were “dying from suicide, not from the algorithm.” He made similar attempts to blame the victims. Then he deleted his own words.

The guy controlling the algorithm told the crypto community that it was their fault that his algorithm was suppressing them.

In general, the social media rules keep changing, and the message is crystal clear: crypto creators are building on borrowed land.

YouTube has its own issues too. Every day, creators are worried about algo suppression, demonetization, or the constant anxiety of wondering whether today’s video gets pushed or buried by code I’ll never see.​

Email is forever

I cannot keep relying exclusively on platforms that can silence me at any moment. When I post a YouTube video, the algorithm decides who sees it. When I tweet, Bier’s algorithm decides if it shows up in your feed. I don’t control any of that.

But when I send you an email? It lands directly in your inbox. No suppression by a middleman deciding whether you’re allowed to see what I have to say.

Email is the one channel where the connection between me and you is direct and unbreakable.

That’s why the smartest creators have been building on email for years. And that’s why I chose Substack specifically.

In a world where X/Crypto Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, and all other types of social media are shifting their algorithms, email is surviving and thriving. Email is unlike anything else on social media, and it can last forever.

In recent editions, I’ve broken down exactly why XRP decoupled from gold and silver during the Iran strikes, and I’ve analyzed the most important allies of XRP inside the Trump administration.

I also gave my specific XRP limit buy price. I will give more updates like that to paying subscribers, when I make adjustments.

This is the kind of direct value that I’ve wanted to deliver to the Crusaders community for a long time. Now, I finally have the right platform to do it.

XRP matters to me personally

After years of making content, I’ve learned that not everything translates well into a 10-minute YouTube.

When I’m tracking specific price levels that someone has to squint or pinch-and-zoom, or citing why a document creates a particular setup for XRP — that kind of precision requires the written word. You can re-read it. Reference it when the price hits the level I told you to watch. Save it and come back to it.

Video is incredible for energy, for breaking news, for getting the community fired up. I love it, and I’m not stopping. But written analysis is where precision lives.

The XRP community is one of the strongest and most dedicated in all of crypto. You deserve both the energy of the videos and the depth of written analysis. Now that I have Substack, you have both.​

I built the Crusaders community from nothing. I was told crypto was a scam. I got laughed at by my friends. I used that rejection as fuel, and together we built something incredible.​
