Jerome Powell is out, and the world’s most powerful central bank has a new pro-XRP Chairman.
Kevin Warsh was sworn in as the 17th Chair of the Federal Reserve at 11am this morning. President Trump hosted the ceremony at the White House.
This is not a normal Fed Chair handover.
For the first time in the Fed’s 113-year history, the person sitting in its top seat has personally invested in crypto, has called bitcoin “the new gold,” and has publicly stated that digital assets are “already part of the fabric of the financial services industry in the United States.”
He is, as the XRP army has been saying for months, the first one of us.
Jay Powell is being shown the door. Mr. Snoozefest who spent four years pretending crypto did not exist, is gone!
In his place is a 56yr old former Morgan Stanley M&A banker who got into crypto through Marc Andreessen, a Bitcoin OG, who owns a stake in the firm behind a spot bitcoin ETF, and who told Senator Cynthia Lummis to her face that digital assets belong inside the American financial system.
