AI agents just started transacting on the XRP Ledger
New XRP Ledger announcement from Ripple has unveiled the next era of parabolic growth in on-chain transactions: AI agents.
Within the last 48 hours, AI agents started transacting on the XRP Ledger for the first time.
Not in a pilot. Not in a one-time demonstration. Publicly on-chain, with access for any agent working for millions of customers of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other AI model.
This week, Ripple launched its XRPL AI Starter Kit. It has software for AI agents to autonomously — no human action needed — create wallets, check balances, and settle payments using XRP and the XRP fee-burning stablecoin, RLUSD.
Machines don’t have feelings. They compute, transact, and clear payments.
Humans set them up and fund a balance, then they go to work autonomously for hours, days, weeks, or even months.
No human clicking to approve each transaction. No invoice sitting in an inbox waiting for manual approval.
One machine pings another machine for XRP, RLUSD, compute tokens, or an API call, and their transactions clear in seconds alongside the data.
Here is the part that should make every XRP holder sit up.
AI isn’t coming to speculate on XRP. AI is using ledgers now, burning the supply of XRP by transacting data autonomously and programmatically via the XRP Ledger.
