Although I do not always agree with him, I actually independently researched today’s particular call by Fundstrat’s Tom Lee about crypto nearing a bottom and found it to be something on which I can actually agree.

When I look at my 200-, 100-, and 50-week simple moving averages (SMAs), as well as the 4-year bitcoin cycle, and various other fundamental and technical indicators that I write about here every day and on Discord, the evidence is starting to become compelling.

Market Context

When I look at 2026 so far and the Iran-Israel-US conflict, it’s honestly been quite shocking.

There have been cataclysmic events this month that have caused a relatively small amount of forced crypto liquidations.

In recent years, the same severe cadence of negative news could have sent prices of bitcoin and XRP absolutely tanking.

Remember, the current broad crypto sell-off began on October 10, 2025 – not this year. That 2025 event started relatively idiosyncratically on Binance and had little to do with global macro.

Given crypto’s relative strength amid a very uncertain macro landscape, I am starting to time my entries. More on that in today’s XRP Premium Analysis.

XRP Premium Analysis

At writing time, XRP is trading at $1.40, directly in the middle of its range over the past four weeks from $1.27 to $1.52.

It is between its 200- and 100-week SMAs, with strong rising support in the hopefully unlikely event of any final Iran catastrophe this weekend like a US ground invasion.
