Yesterday, Schwartz said the quiet part loud. Yes, Ripple has roughly 1,700 NDAs, yes, but none of them hide a government bombshell, a Fedwire replacement, a Treasury contract, or a $10,000-per-XRP revaluation switch waiting to be flipped.

In a companion podcast, his words were even sharper. “There is no conspiracy. There is no secret plan.”

XRP spot ETFs have not recorded a single net outflow day in weeks.

According to XRPL validator Vet, only 0.03% of all XRP sitting in two dormant whale accounts with exposed public keys are theoretically vulnerable to a future quantum attack.

On Bitcoin, the comparable figure runs up to 35%.

That is not a typo. Nearly 7 million BTC, including roughly 1.7 million Satoshi-era coins, sits in address formats where the public key is already visible on-chain. Google’s own Quantum AI team now flags a realistic attack window as early as 2030, with fewer than 500,000 physical qubits needed to derive a private key in about 9 minutes or less than Bitcoin’s own block time.

Bitcoin has no roadmap to fix this. XRPL does.

Over the weekend, Vitalik Buterin had to save the DeFi gateway eth.limo, the world’s largest DeFi lending protocol Aave crashed 23%, and the biggest DeFi hack of 2026 drained nearly $292 million out of Kelp DAO’s LayerZero bridge.

By Monday morning, over $13 billion in DeFi value was gone as investors panicked into safe havens.

Commentators called it a crisis, a meltdown, or a DeFi apocalypse.

Meanwhile, XRP has rallied over the past seven days. The Ripple USD stablecoin remained at its $1 peg. The XRP Ledger didn’t flinch.

The incoming Chairman of the US Federal Reserve is probably an investor in XRP’s DeFi ecosystem.

If you have ever doubted the XRP Standard, consider this new fact, revealed just yesterday by Wall Street Journal reporting: The incoming Chairman of the US central bank is an investor in Kinetic, an XRP DeFi digital asset platform built on the largest XRP airdrop in history.

Donald Trump’s official nominee for Chairman of the Federal Reserve has put his own money into crypto, including dozens of pages of pro-crypto investment disclosures for his Senate Select Committee on Ethics confirmation.

Included in that list is Kinetic, a digital asset platform operating a DeFi ecosystem that serves XRP holders. Kinetic uses Flare Network, which was the most valuable airdrop for XRP holders in history.

I haven’t heard anything about this, and I don’t think the XRP community appreciates the giga-bullishness of Kevin Warsh for the long-term price potential of XRP.

The man nominated to replace Jerome Powell and control US interest rates is an investor in crypto and blockchain companies.

Ladies and gentlemen, it does not get better than this unless the man literally were to say “Buy XRP!” or list Ripple itself on his OGE Form 278e.

Unlike the conservative, staunch, “don’t bother me” approach of Powell about crypto for years, Warsh has already put money into this industry.

Like all of us Crusaders, this man actually sees the potential of crypto and XRP.

I would note that Kinetic is a somewhat ambiguous name, but it’s listed as a “digital asset exchange platform” which seems to match the operation of the Flare-based project. There is a small Solana exchange that goes by that name, but even if it is that one — and I can’t find any confirmation that it is — Warsh’s expansive crypto portfolio proves that he is heavily invested across the industry, which is great for every crypto major, including XRP.

This is the right man for the job. Finally, a pro-crypto Fed Chair!

Anyway, Warsh’s confirmation hearing is set for April 21. That’s next week. Powell’s term expires May 15. And the Senate Banking Committee just got the green light to move forward on his appointment.

XRP sentiment just hit a 2-year low. If there is one rule on Wall Street besides “no free lunch,” it’s to Buy When Others Are Afraid.

Data from Santiment, one of the most respected on-chain and social analytics platforms in crypto, shows that retail has turned its back on XRP. Historically, when investors shun something entirely, that’s exactly when you want to be looking closer.

XRP’s social sentiment has plunged to its third most bearish reading in two years and within a few decimal points of a two-year low.

“The crowd” is giving up on XRP last year and getting wrecked trading silver, gold miners, and leveraged oil futures.

The ratio of bullish to bearish commentary across social media sits at just 1 out of 100.

That means for every single positive comment about XRP, there’s almost exactly one negative one.

Retail is capitulating They’ve checked out. Nine months of bleeding prices have finally broken their spirit.

New research shows only 0.03% of the circulating supply of XRP is susceptible to a quantum attack. For bitcoin, it’s more like 33%.

Google’s landmark quantum paper exposed how many hundreds of billions of assets are at risk of a quantum computer across blockchains, and XRP is far, far, far more quantum-resistant than Bitcoin.

By the percentage of each blockchain’s outstanding supply at risk, XRP is 300 times better positioned than Bitcoin.

Still, it is a serious topic that deserves careful attention. Let’s dive in.

Market Context

Two quantum breakthroughs last week by Google and Oratomic changed the timeline on one of crypto’s oldest existential questions: What happens when quantum computers get powerful enough to break blockchain cryptography and reverse-engineer private keys from public keys?

The answer, according to teams including Google researchers Ryan Babbush, Craig Gidney, and Hartmut Neven alongside many other experts from Stanford and elsewhere, is that the hardware limitations just dropped. Dramatically.

The physics and mathematics are mostly done. Now, it’s just a matter of chemical engineering to finish the job.

Breaking the 256-bit elliptic curve cryptography (ECC-256) that secures Bitcoin now requires fewer than 500,000 physical qubits. That is an approximately 20-fold reduction from prior estimates and pushes up the timeline from the 2040s or 2050s to as soon as 2030.

The threat timeline is suddenly in the face of everyone, but far less for XRP than for Bitcoin.

Of course, no machine with that capability exists today. But the shrinking gap between theory and engineering reality has forced the entire industry to recalculate.

What the numbers reveal is that not all blockchains carry the same risk.

Although quantum cybersecurity experts will be working to upgrade both blockchains as soon as possible, unfortunately for Bitcoin, this is great news for XRP.

Asia’s biggest XRP conference just wrapped in Tokyo at 400-year-old Japanese garden in Tokyo, with Ripple as title sponsor. More than 3,000 attendees showed up. More than 20 speakers took the stage.

It was not a backward-looking meetup. It was proof that already, today, as well as for the foreseeable future, massive financial companies are deploying capital and infrastructure onto the XRP Ledger (XRPL).

The conference headline? $33 trillion.

Market Context

Ripple didn’t bury the lede.

A presentation flyer circulating in-person dropped one figure that prefaced every conversation. On-chain stablecoin volume is projected to exceed $33 trillion in 2026.

To put that in context, that’s larger than the US GDP. And it is starting to flow onto the XRPL.

The message from Ripple to fintech executives was blunt. Stablecoins are no longer optional.

The question isn’t whether to adopt them. The question is how fast you can integrate them before you’re obsolete.

The speaker list also told quite a story.

Speaking on stage was the VP of SBI Ripple Asia, SungMo Park from a16z Crypto, Tatsuya Yamada from Rakuten Wallet, Eiji Kobayashi from Securitize Japan, and representatives from Evernorth and the University of Tokyo. Christina Chan, Tatsuya Kohrogi, and Markus Infanger delivered keynotes. J. Ayo Akinyele, Head of Engineering at RippleX, also took the stage.

Two major SBI moves gave the Tokyo conference real-world grounding.

SBI discussed its recent ¥10 billion (~$64 million) blockchain bond, paying returns directly in XRP. That is a first for a major Japanese financial institution, proving that XRP functions for institutional-grade yield infrastructure.

SBI VC Trade also began distributing RLUSD during the Tokyo conference. The rollout of Ripple’s USD-backed stablecoin fully collateralized by U.S. Treasuries and cash fulfills an August 2025 MOU and puts the stablecoin in front of Japanese institutional and retail investors through one of the country’s most regulated exchanges.

SBI Ripple Asia has also partnered with the Asia Web3 Alliance Japan to back startups building on the XRP Ledger, extending the ecosystem’s pipeline.

North Carolina state representative Hugh Blackwell set the XRP community on fire this week. Blackwell recently said that negotiations are finished and that CLARITY Act is “A DONE DEAL. Banks and crypto companies have reached an agreement.”

He added that full implementation is set for 2026.

An industry-level compromise between the banking lobby and crypto firms that had been blocking the bill for months, if true, has landed!

Market Context

He said the language is done, on the negotiating table. What remains is the Senate vote and Donald Trump’s signature.

Unfortunately, a pesky little complication called the Iran War has delayed CLARITY for months, but it looks like the disagreements about CLARITY might be over, lining that bill up for a vote as soon as Congress gets back from recess.

The foundation was laid last summer. The House passed CLARITY as HR 3633 by a commanding 294–134 vote on July 17, 2025.

It was not a narrow, partisan-line win. It is a signal that members of Congress, across party lines, agree that digital assets need a legal framework and market structure enshrined as law.

Big banks, led by the American Bankers Association, argued that letting crypto exchanges offer yield on stablecoins would trigger deposit flight from traditional checking and savings accounts.

Coinbase was the primary advocate on the crypto side, with CEO Brian Armstrong publicly withdrawing support for the bill in January over yield restrictions. President Trump himself accused banks of holding the CLARITY Act “hostage” shortly after meeting with Armstrong.

That standoff is now over. Senators Thom Tillis and Angela Alsobrooks reached an agreement in principle with White House officials on the stablecoin yield language in late March. Within the Senate Republican caucus, the deal was described as nearly complete.

The Senate Banking Committee has targeted a markup session for the second half of April, following the Senate’s return from Easter recess this coming Monday, April 13.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse publicly cited odds of passage between 80% and 90% and has indicated the timeline could extend to May.

There has been so much good news for XRP that the war in Iran has drowned out that I need to take today and summarize all the reasons that I continue to average-in to XRP in spite of the slight dip in price.

Donald Trump has another serious deadline for Iran tonight, and while geopolitics continues to dominate most people’s feeds, the bullish news and infrastructure announcements for XRP have been nothing short of historic.

Market Context

Earlier today, Iran claimed to have cut off all direct diplomatic communications with the US after Trump threatened to end the regime’s civilization by 8pm, so investors are punishing risk assets indiscriminately.

Bitcoin just slipped under $68,000. XRP is below $1.30.

However, I have been around markets long enough to know that short-term price action and long-term trends are two completely different things.

Today’s geopolitical overhang is temporary. What’s under construction beneath the surface is not.

Chances are, if you are in XRP social media communities today, you are seeing a buzzing discussion about SWIFT, the largest international bank wire messaging system.

The excitement is understandable. Ripple’s treasury platform just gained its application provider listing inside SWIFT’s own partner ecosystem within the same directory that connects over 11,000 institutions across more than 200 countries.

Specifically, Ripple Treasury is a SWIFT Certified Partner Programme with hosting options for SWIFT’s Alliance Lite2 platform. Confirmed on both Ripple’s partner page and SWIFT’s official partner directory.

Banks using Ripple Treasury can also access official SWIFTRef data for IBAN and ABA routing number lookups.

Market Context

For context on the XRP Ledger’s massive opportunity in displacing international wires, it’s important to understand that SWIFT is not a payment system itself but rather a messaging network.

It tells banks what to pay, but it does not actually move the money. SWIFT itself admits, “We facilitate the transfer of value across the globe. We don’t actually move money.”

The actual settlement of funds happens through correspondent banking accounts. This web of bilateral nostro and vostro accounts that banks pre-fund in dozens of currencies around the world.

Nostro-vostro is where Ripple is quietly rebuilding the SWIFT network from the inside out.

SWIFT’S Digital Assets Strategy Director once said, “You must convey the payment instruction, the personal data over a secure channel. That part can be over SWIFT, and then the settlement of the funds between banks to facilitate that money transfer could be done using Ripple.”

In response to banks rewarding Ripple’s XRP holdings, plus another user asking whether XRP is “still relevant” given the rise of competitors in the digital asset space since it debuted in 2012, Schwartz responded with a framework that separates XRP from the pack on three distinct dimensions.

First, XRP bridges currencies cheaper than any bank foreign exchange market in history. XRP doesn’t care whether it’s moving dollars, pesos, yen, or euros. A dollar-pegged stablecoin, for example, is only “stable” if you happen to need dollars on both ends of a transaction and the reserves stay pegged and unimpaired.

Let me walk you through exactly what Schwartz meant in 2017, why it still matters today, and why this is one of the most important things any XRP holder should internalize permanently.

The US Department of Labor just published a proposed rule that could route well over $10 trillion in retirement savings into crypto. XRP, as one of less than a dozen specifically designated Digital Commodities by the SEC and CFTC, could stand to benefit the most.

This is one of the biggest regulatory developments of the year, and most people in the XRP community have no idea what just happened a few hours ago.

Today, March 31 (no, this is not an early April Fool’s joke!), the US Department of Labor published a proposed rule change in the Federal Register entitled, Fiduciary Duties in Selecting Designated Investment Alternatives.

In plain English: the federal government just told every 401(k), the most popular retirement savings plan in the US, that they can add crypto to their investment menus and gave them legal protection to do it.

Market Context

I’m going to break down exactly what this means for XRP.

Total US retirement assets exceed $49 trillion. Until now, almost none of that money has been allowed anywhere near crypto.

That is about to change as of today.

President Trump signed Executive Order 14330 last year, directing the Department of Labor to make it easier for retirement plans to include digital assets. Last May, the Dept. of Labor rescinded Biden-era guidance that told fiduciaries to exercise “extreme care” before adding crypto to 401(k) menus, or basically, the list of asset classes that investors can pick from.

Today’s proposed rule is the final piece of that Executive Order.

It creates a six-factor safe harbor covering performance, fees, liquidity, valuation, benchmarking, and complexity. These safe harbors give 401(k) plan fiduciaries legal permission and job cover to suggest crypto for 401(k) plans.

If a fiduciary follows the easy six steps outlined by the new ruleset, their decision is presumed prudent. Plaintiffs, not retirement advisors, who might ever try to sue bear the burden of proof.
